Building Surveyor
North London - Office-based
3-month ongoing contract
£44.70 per hour (umbrella)
Access to pool vehicles provided

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Building Surveyor to join a busy housing service in North London on an ongoing contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose building defects and recommend appropriate remedial works
Produce specifications of works using a schedule of rates
Inspect properties and manage a varied surveying caseload
Apply strong knowledge of building pathology, including damp, mould and condensation

About You

Experience in building surveying or construction (qualification desirable but not essential)
Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage your own diary and workload
Knowledge or experience within social housing is desirable but not essential
Confident working in an office-based role with site visits as required
