The Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and reflective Religious Studies Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Birmingham. You’ll deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Studies lessons across KS3 to KS5, alongside Geography at KS3. The role involves encouraging discussion, critical thinking, and respect for diverse beliefs, while supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.
The Candidate
You’ll hold QTS or be an ECT, with strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies and the confidence to teach Humanities at KS3. The ideal candidate will be able to create inclusive, well-structured lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and inspire students of varying abilities. A passion for ethics, philosophy, and global issues will be highly valued.
