The Role
A Good-rated secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a committed Religious Studies Teacher to start ASAP. This supply position offers the opportunity to teach RS across KS3–KS5, giving students a well-rounded understanding of world religions, ethics, philosophy, and contemporary issues.
Alongside RS, you’ll also deliver Geography at KS3, supporting the wider Humanities faculty. The role suits teachers who enjoy variety, purposeful curriculum planning, and creating an inclusive classroom where students feel confident to explore complex and thought-provoking topics.
 
The Candidate
We’re looking for a reflective, knowledgeable, and engaging Humanities teacher who can balance academic rigour with a warm, supportive teaching style. You should be:
  • A qualified teacher with QTS (ECTs strongly encouraged to apply)
  • Confident teaching Religious Studies up to KS5
  • Able to deliver KS3 Geography competently
  • Skilled at building discussion-led, analytical lessons
  • Organised, professional, and committed to student progress
