Job Description
Are you an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to support students with special educational needs? This friendly and welcoming SEND school in South Birmingham is looking to add a dedicated Teaching Assistant to their team. You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, Complex Needs, and Moderate Learning Difficulties across Key Stages 3 & 4.
This is a rewarding role that requires patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children with special educational needs to succeed. Working closely with the class teacher and wider support staff, you will help to deliver tailored learning, promote independence, and encourage positive behaviour. The school offers excellent facilities, a strong leadership team, and a supportive environment for staff and students. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to make a difference. This role requires a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Job Role:
• Supporting pupils with a range of SEND across Key Stages.
• Assisting with classroom activities and delivering small group interventions.
• Providing 1-2-1 support where required.
• Helping to manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff.
