Teaching Assistant – SEND School – Birmingham
This welcoming SEND School located near Central Birmingham is currently recruiting for a number of Teaching Assistants to join its supportive team. This school is widely recognised for the fantastic education, care and support that it provides for children with special educational needs. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working on a 1-2-1 and small group basis, helping students to get the most out of each lesson.

This school has a strong focus on student wellbeing and happiness, and you can see this the moment that you walk through the door. You will be joining an experienced team of Teaching Assistants and teachers who love that they do and truly make a difference. This role requires a Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting children with moderate learning needs, Autism and communication impairments. Ideally you will hold a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.   

Job Role:

• Supporting children with Autism, MLD and Communication Impairments on a 1-2-1 and small class basis.
• Working alongside an outstanding team of Teaching Assistants and teacher to ensure that every child meets their full potential.
• Implementing personalised learning plans to support students' progress.
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
