Job Description
Are you an experienced English Teacher looking for a new challenge in an alternative provision? Do you have the ability to engage and inspire students who may have faced barriers to learning? We are working with an alternative provision in Birmingham that is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team and support students in achieving their potential.
This role involves teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 and 4 students, delivering engaging and accessible English lessons that cater to a range of learning needs. The school provides a structured and supportive environment with a strong pastoral team, helping students to re-engage with their education. Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing approach are essential to succeed in this role.
Job Role:
- Teaching English to Key Stage 3 and 4 students in an alternative provision setting.
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively and providing emotional support.
- Working closely with the pastoral team to ensure student progress and well-being.
- Encouraging a positive attitude towards learning and achievement.
