Job Description
Are you an experienced English Teacher with a passion for supporting students who require a different approach to learning? Do you have the resilience and classroom management skills to engage students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? A specialist school in Walsall is looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join their team, delivering Key Stage 3 English to small groups of students.
This alternative provision provides a structured and nurturing environment where students can develop both academically and personally. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students with a range of needs, and helping them build confidence in their learning. Strong behaviour management and an empathetic approach are essential for this role.
Job Role:
- Teaching Key Stage 3 English to small groups of students in an alternative provision setting.
- Creating engaging and accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Supporting students with SEMH and additional needs, promoting confidence and resilience.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively, using a structured and positive approach.
- Working closely with a dedicated team to provide the best possible support for students.
