Job Description

Vox Consultants are hiring for an Urban Designer for a Local Authority based in Central London.
Please note, this is a Contract opportunity.

You will be:

Planning and Designing Urban Spaces – ensuring the space is functional, attractive and sustainable.
Work with developers, local communities, architects, planners and landscape architects to resolve problems.
Assist in dealing with general enquiries.
Supporting the Planning Policy team in the development of design policies, strategies and masterplans.
Deal with cases and investigations of alleged contravention of planning control/related matters and advise on appropriate action.

Essentials:

A Degree in Planning/ Designing or a related field.
Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or eligibility for membership.
Strong working knowledge of UK Planning Laws and Regulations.
Relevant UK experiences preferable.
