FLT Operative

Pertemps are currently seeking experienced FLT Counterbalance Operatives to join a thriving, fast‑paced logistics operation based in Burnaston, Derby (DE19).
This is an excellent long‑term opportunity for skilled FLT Counterbalance drivers looking to build a stable career within a successful and well‑established logistics company.
Key Responsibilities

• Operating FLT Counterbalance trucks within a busy logistics environment
• Loading and tipping trailers safely and efficiently
• Working outdoors as required

Requirements

• Valid, in‑date accredited FLT Counterbalance licence (RTITB, ITSARR or AITT)
• Previous experience in a fast‑paced logistics or warehouse setting
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Access to your own transport due to site location
• Flexibility to work additional overtime during busy periods (up to 2 extra hours per day, confirmed during shift)

Shift Pattern (Monday to Friday, rotating weekly)

• Mornings: 05:30 – 14:30
• Lates: 15:00 – 00:00

Pay Rates

• Monday–Friday: £15.33 per hour
• Overtime (Daily after 9 hours & Saturdays): £21.84 per hour
