ePMO (Lean/Agile) Lead – Manchester - £425 per day (outside) – 6 months
Join an Enterprise Portfolio Management team delivering internal innovative products and services that meet an ever-evolving needs of their business.
We are seeking a highly motivated ePMO Lead to drive strategic initiatives and oversee product development in a Lean and Agile setting. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Director and Senior Leadership, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to ensure that strategic goals are met efficiently and effectively. You will lead the evolution of a project management framework, enabling the delivery of high-value products and services while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and corporate guard rails.
You should be a dynamic, forward-thinking professional ePMO Lead with a focus on strategy and product portfolio development in a Lean/Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of ePMO with the development and execution of the company’s strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.
- Oversee and support the adoption of Lean and Agile methodologies across the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to define the strategic roadmap, ensuring resource alignment and prioritisation across teams.
- Drive the creation and management of product backlogs, ensuring efficient delivery and value realisation.
- Implement metrics and performance indicators to measure the success of strategic projects and product developments, optimizing processes for maximum impact.
- Provide expert guidance on Lean/Agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Product, Technology, Operations, and Business teams.
- Ensure that outcomes meet business requirements and are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead risk management and mitigation strategies for key projects and product development initiatives.
To apply you should have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in an ePMO leadership role, with a focus on strategic planning and product development in a Lean/Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and Lean principles.
- Excellent experience in managing product development lifecycles and aligning projects with strategic business objectives.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and project management software to track progress, manage backlogs, and collaborate across teams.
- Ability to lead and mentor more junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- PMP, Agile Certification (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP), or equivalent is a plus.
