Assignment Category: Full-Time, Site-Based Contract Role
 
Job Summary:

• Seeking a site operative to support daily site operations, including maintaining welfare facilities, overseeing generators, and general site housekeeping. Responsibilities also include receiving deliveries, escorting delivery vehicles, and performing additional duties as directed by site management.

 
Contract Duration:

• Rolling 6-month contract as part of a 2-year project.

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Arrive on-site in a fit and prepared condition.
• Work alongside the site management team to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Maintain necessary skills and knowledge to perform duties effectively.
• Follow instructions from the site manager or management team as required.
• Adhere to company health, safety, quality, environmental, and welfare policies.

 
Requirements:
 
Minimum:

• Full UK driving licence.
• CSCS or CCNSG Safety Passport.

 
Desirable:

• Previous experience in a substation or similar construction environment.
• SSEN Cat 1 qualification.
• CPCS Vehicle Banksman certification.

 
Physical Requirements:

• Site-based role requiring the ability to safely navigate construction terrain on foot for up to 10 hours per day.
• Office tasks may include repetitive hand motions, use of office equipment, prolonged sitting, and occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.

 
Cognitive Requirements:

• Ability to analyze information, make informed decisions, and solve problems.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and spoken instructions.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

 
Work Schedule:
 
50 hours per week
Some Weekend works
Travel to client or project sites as required.
 
Pay Rates:

• £15 per hour Mon – Friday all hours
• £18.75 per hour Saturday all hours
• £21 per hour Sunday all hours
