The Role
A secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Business Studies Teacher to join their team from May 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
The role involves delivering BTEC Business at Level 2 and Level 3, supporting students in developing a strong understanding of business concepts, enterprise, and real-world applications. You will guide learners through coursework-based assessment, ensuring they meet deadlines and achieve their full potential.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, tracking student progress, and providing targeted support to help learners succeed in both coursework and external assessments.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS or be an ECT
- Have experience delivering Business Studies or BTEC Business
- Be confident with coursework-based assessment and grading criteria
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be committed to supporting student progress and achievement
