The Role
A Good-rated secondary school in Walsall is seeking a motivated and committed Maths Teacher to join their department from January 2026. This long-term supply role involves delivering Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students to build confidence, resilience, and strong problem-solving skills.
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing progress, and contributing to a supportive and collaborative Maths department. The role offers stability and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupil outcomes.
The Candidate
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Maths specialist who can inspire learners of all abilities. You should be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs welcome)
- Confident teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
- Committed to maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
- Skilled at differentiating lessons to meet a range of needs
- Reliable, organised, and a strong classroom practitioner
