Cover Supervisor – Birmingham
 
A secondary school network across Birmingham is looking for confident Cover Supervisors to support classes across KS3 and KS4 from November 2025. Whether you’re seeking steady long-term work or day-to-day flexibility, this role is well suited to someone who enjoys guiding students, maintaining routines and keeping lessons purposeful in the absence of the class teacher.

  • Pay: £500 – £750 per week (depending on assignment and experience)
 
The Role
You’ll supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students stay on task and follow the school’s behaviour expectations. The role involves managing the classroom environment, addressing minor issues quickly and offering clear instructions so pupils understand what’s required. On long-term placements, you may be asked to assist with simple marking, form-time duties and supporting staff across the department.
