Job Description
A secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a committed English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This long-term assignment offers the chance to deliver English Language and Literature lessons that challenge and inspire students, while playing a key role in helping them achieve strong academic outcomes.

The Role
You will be responsible for teaching English across KS3 and KS4, with full classroom responsibilities including lesson planning, marking, and assessment. The successful candidate will bring creativity and passion to their teaching, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ confidence in both written and spoken English. You’ll be supported by an experienced department that values collaboration and the sharing of good practice.
The Candidate
The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs with QTS. Strong subject knowledge, effective behaviour management, and the ability to engage students of all abilities are essential.
