Maths Teacher – Walsall

We’re working with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Walsall, currently seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from May 2025. This is a long-term supply opportunity, ideal for a passionate educator looking to make a measurable impact on students' progress in a well-run, supportive environment.


Key Details:

• Role: Maths Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
• Start: May 2025
• Contract: Long-term supply
• Location: Walsall
• Pay: £175 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
• Eligibility: QTS or ECT status required

The Role: You’ll be delivering Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a clear scheme of work and excellent department support in place. The role is full-time, and includes planning, marking, and assessment responsibilities. Behaviour is well-managed, and there’s a strong emphasis on raising attainment and engagement in numeracy.

The Candidate: The school is looking for a teacher who can bring energy, subject expertise, and consistency to the classroom. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an early career teacher (ECT), you’ll need solid curriculum knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire and support learners of all abilities.
