A ‘Good’ secondary school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a committed and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. - Daily Rate: £175–£250 (dependent on experience)
- Contract: Full-time, long-term supply
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with a particular focus on Triple Science. The role involves planning, assessment and classroom teaching in line with the national curriculum. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative Science department and contribute to a culture of high achievement and scientific enquiry.
The Candidate
We’re looking for a teacher who:
- Holds QTS or ECT
- Has experience teaching across Biology, Chemistry and Physics
- Can deliver Triple Science to a high standard
- Is passionate about making Science exciting and accessible
- Has strong classroom management and communication skills

This Birmingham-based secondary school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is known for its inclusive ethos and strong focus on academic excellence. The Science department is well-equipped and led by experienced staff who value collaboration and ongoing development. Pupils are motivated and behaviour is well managed across the school.
