Play Worker, children with complex Special Educational Needs (SEN) and disabilities

Job Description:
Our friendly and charismatic team support children with various disabilities from 5 through to the age of 18. We share a commitment to ensuring that they’re having fun, while always promoting their independence and ensuring they are thriving in a genuinely happy environment. This makes for a spectacularly fantastic workplace, so we are confidently that you will excel here! Every day will present you with new challenges, but across the board you can expect to help children develop their social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional skills through play. This will involve planning and delivering a wide array of activities including, sports, arts and crafts, and games. Whether working onsite at the play centre or in the community, you will engage closely with the children, handling their personal care needs as required. Staff will be working with the children to achieve their smart outcomes according to their individual profiles.
