About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Pipeline Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Peterborough area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformational infrastructure programmes in the UK, with a focus on pipeline engineering. The role offers the chance to work on high-profile engineering projects both nationally and internationally, shaping the future of water transmission solutions across multiple sectors, including Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Urban Development.

Key Responsibilities include:

Lead and manage a team to deliver high-quality technical design work, adhering to relevant design standards and codes.
Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and bid proposals for new projects.
Ensure successful time and budget management to meet project milestones and programme schedules.
Collaborate with UK-based and overseas teams to develop integrated design solutions.
Uphold quality assurance standards throughout all phases of design.

Requirements

Chartered Civil Engineer with a minimum of 2 years' post-chartered experience.
Demonstrated experience in pipeline design delivery and leading multidisciplinary design resources.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pipe restraint and jointing, pipeline materials, bedding, and under-track crossings (UTX).
Proficiency in digital analysis tools, such as HADES, InfoWorks, and EPANET, with a strong understanding of local and national design guidelines.

Additional Information

Expenses Covered: Yes (for site visits); No (for normal commute).
Notice Period: 2 weeks (both for contractor and employer).
Vetting Level: Ideally C-Level, but will depend on the role requirements.
