The school is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their SEN department on a long-term basis. The position is available to start ASAP; however, for outstanding candidates, the school is happy to wait until September.

The Role
You will be supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 who have a range of Special Educational Needs. This will include a combination of 1:1 support and small group work, helping students access learning, build confidence, and develop both academically and socially.
You will work closely with class teachers and the SEN team to ensure students receive the support they need in a calm, well-managed classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a UK degree (Psychology graduates are highly encouraged to apply)
• Has experience working with young people with SEN
• Is confident, proactive, and able to build strong relationships with students
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Is passionate about supporting young people to reach their potential
