Mental Health Social Worker, Ealing  
£36 per hour. 
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to work in the Safeguarding Adult (SGA) Hub within the Mental Health Social Care Team for the London Borough of Ealing. 
 
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the legal frameworks of the Care Act (2014),, the Mental Capacity Act 2005), the Mental Health Act1983 (2007) and the Human Rights Act(1998)-, can demonstrate professional curiosity, and an ability to work in a strength based way to ensure the best outcomes for residents Ealing with mental health needs. Legal proficiency is required. Candidates are also required to have robust assessment skills and be able to complete their interventions within the team timescales. 
 
In the role you will be acting as a Safeguarding Enquiry Officer, working closely with the Mental Health Safeguarding Adults Lead to make Sec 42 enquiries, and manage risk, ensuring people’s individual safeguarding outcomes are met. 
 
Within the Mental Health Safeguarding Adult (SGA) Hub we hold the responsible for screening incoming SGA referrals to the service, responding to queries and contact from service users, carers and other professionals. 
 
The mental health social work team is currently, co- located with West London NHS Trust however the SGA Hub is based out of Perceval House, Ealing Broadway. Ealing operates a hybrid working policy with the expectation that SGA SW's work a minimum of 3 days from the office. 
 
Driving is desirable but not essential.
