Family Support Officer, Southwark 
The pay rate for this role is £24.71 umbrella rate. 
The family support worker is based in the Extra Familial harm and Missing Team and will work closely with children, young people and their families to build relationships based on positive regard while providing practical, effective and targeted support.  In the main, this role involves conducting return home interviews to children who have been missing from home or care.  You will work alongside social workers, and will receive regular supervision including group. supervision. 
Not required to have a Social Work Qualification / registration.  Must have NVQ level 6 in either social care, youth work, counselling, parenting, family work or able to evidence equivalent level of knowledge, skills and underpinning theoretical knowledge through experience in the field of work. 
Full DBS check at enhanced level is required.
