A dynamic and forward-thinking Alternative Provision in South Birmingham is seeking an experienced English Teacher to join their team in September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Teacher with strong behaviour management skills and a genuine desire to support students with SEMH needs and complex backgrounds. You will be teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 and 4 students, delivering engaging and accessible English lessons that inspire confidence and progress. The successful candidate will join a supportive and passionate team who are committed to inclusion, resilience, and success for every learner.
Job Role:
- Teaching English to small groups of KS3 & KS4 students.
- Planning and delivering lessons tailored to meet individual needs.
- Building strong, respectful relationships with students to encourage positive engagement.
- Working closely with pastoral and inclusion teams to support holistic student development.
- Contributing to a nurturing and structured school environment.
- Working in a small, specialist setting where your impact is immediately visible.
- Support from an experienced leadership team and skilled support staff.
