The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths ECT to join a supportive secondary school and develop their teaching practice in a dynamic environment. • ECF-based training modules: Covering pedagogy, behaviour management, curriculum design, assessment, and professional conduct.
• Assigned mentor: Regular feedback, guidance, and one-on-one support from an experienced teacher.
• Observation and feedback sessions: Structured classroom observations with detailed feedback from your mentor and school leadership.
• Personalised development plan: Tailored support based on your strengths and areas for improvement.
• Professional development opportunities: Workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance your teaching skills.
• Workload management strategies: Guidance on lesson planning, marking, and time management.
• Regular reflection and self-assessment: Opportunities to review and refine your teaching practice.
