Job Description

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Senior Planning Officer for a Local Authority based in the Merseyside area.

Please note, this is a Contract opportunity and only apply if you have the Right to Work in the UK and has relevant experience.

You will be:

Handing complex planning applications, appeals and pre – application enquiries.
Producing reports and ensuring compliance.
Community engagement.
Conducting research and analysing data on land use, environment and demographics to inform planning decisions.
Enforcing regulations.
Policy development.

Essentials:

Right to work in the UK – the Council will not be able to provide sponsorship for this opportunity.
A degree in a relevant field and proven working experience of working as a Planning Officer.
Relevant Industry knowledge.
Previous experience of working within a Council is beneficial but not essential.
