Service and Repair Technician

We are working with a leading technical production company for live events, delivering exceptional experiences for very well know brands through AV, lighting, staging and event production.
They are looking to hire Service and Repair Technician to join their expanding team and play a key role in maintaining and repairing our inventory.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing audio, video, and lighting equipment, including single-phase and three-phase power cables, as well as multipin, DMX, microphone, and speaker cables. You will collaborate closely with the Operations Team to manage day-to-day tasks and plan for future maintenance needs. Keeping rental software up to date, maintaining a well-organized workshop, and ensuring stock levels of spare parts and components are efficiently managed will also be key aspects of the role.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Good soldering skills and experience repairing moving lights are essential, and PAT Testing certification would be an advantage. Strong IT skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are crucial.
