Role Overview:
Pertemps are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Consultant to support the development of a Quality Assurance Board and Quality Assurance Framework for Adult Social Care (ASC) operations. This is a pivotal role in improving the effectiveness, accountability, and person-centered focus of ASC services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide intelligence and performance data to evaluate ASC operational practices against statutory duties.
- Assure the quality of practice through detailed analysis and reporting.
- Ensure feedback from individuals drawing on care and support, as well as their carers, informs improvement priorities.
- Collaborate with relevant colleagues to develop thematic reporting into the board, focusing on areas such as complaints, ombudsman cases, and other key issues.
- Deliver service-level reporting on waiting lists and other critical metrics.
- Report on the effectiveness of customer journeys within ASC operations, including pathways such as Discharge to Assess (D2A), Transitions, and Sensory Services.
- Gather intelligence to better understand the needs of service users, particularly hard-to-reach groups or those experiencing inequalities.
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance and framework development, particularly in adult social care operations.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure collaboration across ASC teams and external partners.
- A commitment to embedding a person-centered approach, focusing on the views and needs of service users and carers.
