European Quality Manager

A leading regulated manufacturing business based in Derby is seeking an experienced European Quality Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for quality matters relating to sales, customer expectations and operational performance.
Lead and oversee investigations into manufacturing or operational non-conformances and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
Report on the performance of the Quality Management System (QMS), including quality audits, corrective actions, test data analysis and KPIs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Manage the Supplier Quality Management programme, ensuring key suppliers are assessed through risk assessments and audits.
Develop, implement and maintain Quality Control (QC) processes across the business.

Key Skills & Experience:

UK-based role with responsibility for quality operations in the UK and Europe, with occasional travel.
Strong working knowledge of CAPA.
Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems.
Experienced in auditing manufacturing processes, report writing and driving corrective actions.
Good knowledge of risk management, validation activities, design controls, process development, process monitoring, statistical controls and root cause analysis.
Minimum 5 years’ experience within a regulated manufacturing or quality environment, working to recognised Quality Management System standards and regulatory requirements.
French speaking is an advantage

Salary:
Up to £70k dependent on experience.
