Yard Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver

We are recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver to work for our client based in Derby on a temp to perm basis. Working in a Trade Counter environment you will be working in a fast paced operation where speed and accuracy are required. You must also be confident in liaising with customers face to face to create a positive customer experience. 

Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
+ Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm
+ Saturday morning’s where required but at present Saturday’s are not being worked. 

The successful Yard Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver will:
+ Have an in date FLT Counterbalance license
+ Have experience working in a trade counter, construction or busy dual warehouse & FLT environment
+ Display a can-do attitude to ensure customers have a positive experience

Your duties as a Yard Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver will include:
+ Stock movements within the yard to keep it tidy and functioning
+ Pick stock by hand or FLT where required
+ Wrap pallets 
+ Liaise with customers regarding their deliveries 
+ Support trade counter when required 

You will receive:
+ £12.50 per hour rising from April 2025
