Job Description
As part of our continued expansion programme, we have an opportunity for a Recruitment & Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll and Onboarding team and provide payroll, post-recruitment, and onboarding admin support from January 2026.
This is a 2-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension of permanency subject to business needs. This a full-time office-based role working from our East Midlands Airport office (DE74 2SA).

- 0830 hrs – 1730 hrs Monday to Friday (flexibility required).
Key Duties & Responsibilities of the Recruitment & Payroll Administrator will include:
- Assisting with weekly payroll.
- Invoice queries.
- Administer and apply for criminal record checks.
- Process applications for airport ID passes.
- Liaising with employees and delegates to gather HR onboarding information.
- Update training records, HR Databases and Recruitment Trackers.
- Preparing recruitment and onboarding reports for the senior leadership team.
- Performing high volume accurate data entry.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- It is essential that you have administration experience in a similar environment, such as HR, high-volume recruitment, or high-volume employee onboarding.
- Strong IT skills - proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and an aptitude for in-house systems.
- Comfortable with telephone-based activities.
- Highly competent in with working with multiple data spreadsheets.
- A degree of attention to detail.
