Job Description

We are currently recruiting HGV Drivers to join our Inventory and Supply team working out of our Didcot Distribution Centre.

What you’ll be doing as a Class 1 HGV Driver
  • Working as part of the Logistics Delivery Team, where we operate a fleet of vans, 10t curtain-siders, 26t curtain-siders, 44t arctic and 26t HIAB.
  • Inventory and supply delivery vehicles support both reactive and planned work.
  • You will be driving and operating heavy goods vehicles.
  • Complete pre & post daily vehicle checks in line with legislative and company requirements.
  • Record and report vehicle defects, the loading and unloading plus securing of your load.

Location – Didcot

Hours – 45 hours per week - standard hours Monday to Friday - Out of Hours rota including weekend

What you should bring to the role
  • Ability to work an out-of-hours rota, 1 week in 6.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Class 1 licence with a valid CPC and Tachograph.
  • ADR Driver Certification is required.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.
  • Working knowledge of Drivers' Hours rules and Working Time Regulations.
