Job Description

This is a busy and fast paced role where you’ll help keep our field teams organised and supported throughout the day. You’ll work closely with technicians, planners and managers to make sure work is scheduled efficiently, emergencies are responded to quickly and customers continue to receive a great service.

What you’ll be doing as a Scheduler
  • Managing the in-day schedule for field technicians and making sure workloads are balanced
  • Scheduling emergency and priority work within required SLAs
  • Working closely with planners to maximise completion of planned maintenance activities
  • Supporting technicians with updates, alarms and changes throughout the day
  • Reviewing outstanding work and helping to reduce delays or manual intervention
  • Communicating with field teams, managers and planners by phone and email to keep operations running smoothly
Base location:  Reading, Kemble Court – hybrid with the minimum of 2 days in the office
Working hours: 7:30 am to 3:30 pm

What you should bring to the role
  • Previous scheduling, planning or operational support experience
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills both over the phone and in writing
  • Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions quickly
  • Good teamwork skills and ability to build relationships with operational team
