Service Controller

Our client, a well-established Plant Hire company is looking for a Service Controller to join their team in Morden.

The Role:
As a Service Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the service department, coordinating the servicing, repairs, and maintenance of plant equipment, tools, and fleet vehicles.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Scheduling and coordinating service, repair, and maintenance tasks in line with customer requirements.
• Liaising with customers to understand their needs and scheduling work accordingly.
• Maintaining accurate records, including repair logs, inspection reports, and service histories.
• Troubleshooting technical issues over the phone, providing initial guidance, and advising on the next steps.

The Person:

• Previous experience in scheduling/coordinating service or maintenance work is essential
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach.
• A background in Plant Hire or Construction is desirable but not essential.

The Package:

• Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE
• 21 days holiday + bank holidays (3 days allocated for Christmas shutdown)
