Finance Assistant

Sheridan Maine is currently working with a well-established business based in Halesowen that is seeking a Finance Assistant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
 
Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant include:

• Processing invoices and assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Performing bank reconciliations and supporting financial reporting.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
• Communicating with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
• Providing general administrative support to the finance team.
• Processing weekly timesheets accurately.

 
The successful Finance Assistant will require:

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role, or currently studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
