Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Operative to join a leading chemical manufacturing company based in Basingstoke, this is a full-time permanent position.



Responsibilities as a Production Operative:

• Handling of hazardous chemicals.

• Carrying out chemical reactions and processes.

• Recording of quantities used in processes.

• Carrying out simple in production analytical testing.

• Regular cleaning and housekeeping of plant equipment and general factory area.

• Movement of chemicals using FLT.

• Packing chemicals both solutions and powders.

• Operating chemical plant.

• Carrying out simple day to day maintenance of chemical plant

Requirements:

• Previous background within Production

• Forklift Counterbalance experience

• Team player

• Basic numeracy skills

• Physical fit as this role is physically demanding

• Comfortable wearing protective clothing and breathing masks for long periods of time

The Role:

• Rotating Weekly shift
  
  
  
  • 1st Week = Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays
  
  
  • 2nd Week = Monday – Thursday, 1pm – 9pm, Friday 12pm – 7pm
  
  
  

• £27,000 salary plus a £170 a month shift allowance
