Based in Worcester, you will deliver a variety of plumbing qualifications (Levels 1–3) across Apprenticeship and Skills Bootcamp programmes. You’ll play a key role in designing engaging training sessions, supporting learners’ progression, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.
The role offers excellent autonomy and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a new business area, making a real difference to learners’ futures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, practical plumbing training and assessment across Levels 1–3, ensuring sessions are engaging and aligned with curriculum and industry standards
- Plan and prepare teaching sessions that cater to different learning styles, combining classroom-based and workshop delivery
- Provide individual coaching, mentoring, and learner support, identifying development needs to help apprentices reach their full potential
- Assess learners’ knowledge, skills, and behaviours in line with apprenticeship standards and Skills Bootcamp requirements, ensuring accurate evidence mapping and documentation
- Maintain accurate learner records and reports, ensuring compliance with awarding body, Ofsted, and Skills for England standards
- Provide constructive feedback to guide learners to successful qualification completion
- Contribute to continuous improvement, participating in standardisation meetings, curriculum reviews, and sharing best practice
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and professional learning environment, adhering to health and safety requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 Plumbing qualification (or equivalent)
- Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32/D33)
- Proven commercial plumbing experience
- Excellent communication and IT skills
