Pertemps are working on behalf of a well-established and expanding training organisation. This company specialises in Apprenticeships, Higher-Level Qualifications, and Commercial Training across multiple sectors, partnering with employers of all sizes to deliver high-quality workforce development.
They are seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual with a passion for connecting businesses with training solutions.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Specialist
• Deliver a consultative sales experience to new and existing clients, representing the organisation professionally at all times.
• Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, social media engagement, and B2B outreach.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers to promote Apprenticeships, Commercial Training, and Short Courses.
• Achieve and exceed agreed personal sales targets, contributing to the success of the wider team.
• Develop and deliver engaging sales presentations using a variety of media and communication styles.
• Manage a personal sales pipeline, ensuring effective follow-up and timely communication.
• Prepare and present tailored business proposals to clients.
• Gather and share market intelligence to support strategic business growth and planning.
• Represent the organisation at networking events, exhibitions, and meetings to enhance brand visibility.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.

About You
• Target-driven, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving revenue growth.
• Experienced in the education and training sector, with knowledge of Government-funded programmes, including Apprenticeships, Commercial Training, and Short Courses.
• A natural communicator and relationship builder who thrives on converting enquiries into lasting business partnerships.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable managing your own pipeline and workload.
• Confident using networking, social media, and business development tools to generate new leads.
• Flexible and able to travel across your region to meet clients.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role. All business mileage will be paid from home.
