Forklift Driver

Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers to join our expanding manufacturing client in Witney, OX29

• Temporary to Permanent
• Fixed shift AM or PM
• £14.30 ph AM shift (06:00 – 15:00 early finish on Friday)
• £16.45 ph PM shift (16:45 – 03:15)
• Dayshift Monday-Friday
• Overtime paid at x1.5 after 40 hours
• Full training provided, including additional FLT licences and pay band reviews
• Increased holiday entitlement after probation

About the Forklift Driver jobs:

• Efficiently move both raw and manufactured timber products around the warehouse and yard
• Securely load and unload vehicles with stock
• Record movement of stock within stock control system
• Safely perform manual handling tasks when moving stock

The successful Forklift Driver:

• Current in date FLT licence (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Combi or Side Loader)
• Previous experience within a busy warehouse environment
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
• Effective communicator
• Good understanding of safe manual handling techniques and health and safety requirements
