Defendant PI Solicitor / 4 PQE+ / London / £70,000 - £80,000 / hybrid working available. We are currently working with a leading national law firm which is seeking a talented Defendant Personal Injury Solicitor (4 PQE+) to join its growing London-based Insurance team. The Role:

• Manage your own caseload of defendant EL/PL claims
• Assist partners on complex and high-profile litigation
• Handle pre-action and litigated personal injury and property damage claims
• Advise on regulatory investigations and prosecutions involving the HSE, police and CQC
• Attend coroner’s inquests
• Assist with policy coverage disputes and interpretation issues
• Work on claims ranging from fast-track matters through to multi-million-pound, multi-party disputes
• Dealing primarily with instructions from insurers on behalf of policyholders, plus direct non-insurance related instructions.

About You:

Applications are encouraged from solicitors with:

• 4+ years’ PQE in defendant personal injury litigation
• Strong experience handling Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims
• An insurer client background, ideally acting on behalf of insurers/policyholders
• Excellent technical and drafting ability
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
• A proactive, ambitious and organised approach
• Excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills
