JOB TITLE: Commercial Property / Infrastructure Lawyer - EV Projects (In-House)
PQE: 2+
LOCATION: West Midlands, Hybrid (2 days in office)
SALARY: £65,000–£70,000 + benefits

ROLE: A leading UK organisation in the travel, leisure and infrastructure sector is looking for a Lawyer with a background in EV, energy or infrastructure projects to join its in-house Legal team. This role supports the national rollout of EV charging facilities and involves working closely with senior stakeholders across Legal, EV and ESG functions. Role will include;
  • Leading legal input on EV charging and infrastructure projects.
  • Drafting and negotiating leases, wayleaves, grid agreements and related contracts.
  • Advising internal teams and external partners on land rights, planning, regulation and commercial risks.
  • Collaborating with grid providers, landlords, commercial partners and regulators.
  • Supporting compliance, ESG objectives and continuous improvement.

CANDIDATE:
  • Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE.
  • Experience in EV, energy or infrastructure law.
  • Knowledge of commercial property, planning and energy regulation preferred.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally.
