School Liaison & Marketing Officer
Department: Marketing & Schools Liaison
Reporting to: Schools Engagement Manager & Senior Marketing Manager
Location: Cambridge - Multi-site role across two campuses
Permanent: Full time position
Salary: £26,825 to £28,629 plus excellent benefits


Overview

We’re looking for a confident and organised School Liaison & Marketing Officer to build strong relationships with local schools and promote College Courses and services to prospective students. As School Liaison & Marketing Officer, you’ll lead on outreach activities, support events, and contribute to marketing campaigns that drive student recruitment.

This is a site-based role requiring regular travel between campuses and to local schools. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Outreach & Relationship Building
Develop and maintain relationships with schools, sixth forms, and colleges.
Deliver advice and guidance to students, parents, and teachers.
Represent the organisation’s values and vision at all engagements.
Liaise with external partners and education networks.

Events & Engagement
  • Organise and attend school events such as information evenings, assemblies, and fairs.
  • Support on-campus events including open days and award evenings.
  • Present to groups of students and stakeholders to raise awareness.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure event delivery runs smoothly.

Marketing Support
  • Create school communications (emails, presentations, print, and social media).
  • Deliver timely information around key recruitment periods (e.g. results days, application deadlines).
  • Promote engagement activity via digital and social media platforms.

Knowledge & Administration
  • Keep up to date on curriculum changes, student services, and pathways.
  • Maintain accurate records of engagement and feedback.
  • Evaluate events and report on outcomes to inform future planning.
  • Support admin tasks related to event delivery and marketing.

Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
  • Experience working within an educational organisation an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
