Part Time Paralegal 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part-Time Paralegal to join our client’s expanding team in Stoke-on-Trent. This role is ideal for a self-motivated and proactive individual with a strong legal background.

As a key member of our in-house legal team, you will play a vital role in supporting the department with a variety of legal and administrative tasks. You’ll be expected to manage deadlines effectively, communicate clearly, and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities of this Paralegal role:

  • Draft transfers of whole and part
  • Obtain and review Land Registry compliant plans
  • Co-ordinate director signatures and ensure accurate execution of documents
  • Submit and monitor Land Registry applications, addressing requisitions as needed
  • Maintain and refine the Section 106 agreement spreadsheet
  • Compile legal packs and set up documents for development sites
  • Track critical legal dates and update team diaries
  • Negotiate and complete section agreements
  • Answer telephone calls and take messages professionally
Skills required for this Paralegal role:

  • Holds or is working towards a Law degree, or has equivalent experience as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal, preferably with a focus on property or development
  • Can manage their own workload and meet strict deadlines
  • Is discreet, reliable, and maintains confidentiality
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Holds a full UK driving licence
Details of this Paralegal role:

  • Competitive salary (£26,000 – £32,000 pro rata)
