Pertemps are currently looking for a Mechanical Panel Assembler to join our clients team in the Cheshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical aptitude, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn, working closely with our design and test departments to ensure quality and accuracy.

Key responsibilities for this Mechanical Panel Assembler role:

• Manufacturing control panels
  
  
• Working from schematics and layout diagrams 
  
  
• Follow parts lists and complete progress sheets 
  
  
• Liaise with Test Engineers, Stores and Design departments with anomalies pertaining to design/manufacture 
  
  
• Be prepared to train others when competent to do so 
  
  

Skills required for this Mechanical Panel Assembler role:

• Experience working in a similar production or manufacturing role is essential 
  
  
• Confident in using hand power tools safely 
  
  
• Component recognition is essential 
  
  
• Be willing to learn new skills
  
  
• Must be able to drive due to no public transport going to our client’s location 
  
  

Details of this Mechanical Panel Assembler role:

• £12.30 per hour, with full training provided
• 30 days holiday (including statutory), increasing to 33 days after one year’s service
• Workshop hours typically 08:00–16:30; office opens 08:00–18:00
