Job Description
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Sales and Retention Executive to join our client based in Convent Garden, London. Reporting to the Head of Customer Retention, your key responsibility will be to engage with customers who have requested to cancel their services or have requested a refund, working to retain their subscriptions or reduce refund payouts. You will also focus on renewing high-value services for customers whose subscriptions have expired.
In addition to these tasks, you'll gather valuable customer feedback to help improve our services and enhance the overall customer experience. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and stay motivated to hit targets.
Key Responsibilities of this Sales and Retention Executive role:
- Make outbound calls to customers who have requested to cancel or not renew their services, aiming to retain them and prevent cancellations.
- Contact customers with expired high-value services, persuading them to renew their subscriptions.
- Handle refund requests, using strong sales arguments to reduce the need for refunds and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collate and report feedback from customers regarding cancellations or service concerns, providing valuable insights to help improve our offerings.
- Collaborate with the retention team to meet company-wide goals and deadlines.
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a customer retention or telesales role.
- 2+ years of customer service experience to understand customer needs and manage objections effectively.
- 1+ year of administration experience, comfortable handling customer data and reports.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a persuasive approach and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, capable of working independently and managing your time effectively.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tasks and tools.
- Excellent customer service skills and a focus on maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree (desirable but not essential).

- Salary: £35,000 (OTE: £40,000 - £50,000)
- Working Hours: 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Working Location: Office-based during probation, 3 days from the office, 2 days from home thereafter
