Salary: £34,000 to £37,000
Location: Thame
Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays

Pertemps Didcot are recruiting an HGV Class 1 Night Driver for our established client based over in Thame.

Job Overview:
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an HGV Class 1 Night Driver with experience of working in a multi drop environment.
Working as an HGV Class 1 Driver you will be a professional delivery driver who will be part of a team working together and aiming high to deliver outstanding customer service every day.

Your role as an HGV Class 1 Night Driver will include:

• Completion of daily pre-use vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks
• Driving to clients to deliver and collect goods
• Accurate and timely defect reporting
• Obtain accurate and timely 'proof of delivery' Using a PDA or documentation in line with the required standard
• Legislative compliance, e.g. Tachograph and driving infringements, and including roadside authority checks, accident, near miss and hazard reporting
• Adherence to vehicle cleaning programme
• Use of pump truck/tail lift, forklifting when required

To be successful, you will require:

• Relevant, clean driving Licence
• In-date Tachograph and CPC card
• Held licence for at least 2 years
• 1 year of experience in driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle
• Customer focused, with flexible approach
• Willing to go the extra mile for our customers
