Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Wrexham
Salary: £12.30 per hour

About the Role

We are recruiting a Production Operative to join a busy food production facility. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient production and packing of high-quality food products.

This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, with a rotating shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm / 2:00pm–10:00pm, including bank holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure quality standards are met by checking products for defects.
• Operate machinery safely in line with standard operating procedures and risk assessments
• Adjust production lines to prevent downtime.
• Support the production team with loading and unloading materials and products.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities to meet compliance and legislative requirements.
• Follow departmental cleaning schedules and assist other functions as needed.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG or food production.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Competent with MS Office.

Desirable

• Experience in FMCG or food production manufacturing (6 months+).
• Experience in packing and/or high-care production environments.
