Warehouse Operative

Pertemps Lincoln have brand-new temporary placements covering Spring, for a local employer based near Sleaford. Our customer is a successful, award winning, UK based producer and is looking for Warehouse Operatives / Picking & Packing Staff to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for local employment which will be full time until at least June 2025.

What will I be expected to do? 

• Work within goods in and out department.
• Picking and packing orders
• Loading and unloading vehicles (materials and finished products), checking stock.
• Visual quality checks on the products as you pack customer’s orders.
• Be versatile, and willing to learn new skills.
• Carry out other warehouse/production duties as and when required.

What skills do I need?

• Previous experience in a warehouse or physically active role.
• Proven ability to work using own initiative.
• The ability to communicate well with other team members and management.
• Ability to demonstrate commitment, reliability, and good timekeeping.
• Due to the location of site, you must have your own form of transport.

What hours will I be working?
The hours are for this role are Monday to Friday 0800 to 1630. This will change to Sunday to Thursday from April 2025 onwards.

How much will I be paid?
You will be paid £11.44 per hour, rising to a minimum of £12.21 per hour in April.
