The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects, contributing to cost efficiency, financial transparency, and sustainable project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and managing cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies.
- Conducting regular cost analysis and financial reporting to monitor project expenditures.
- Overseeing procurement and tendering processes, ensuring value for money and compliance.
- Assessing project risks and providing recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
- Monitoring project variations, managing change control, and handling contract negotiations.
- Collaborating closely with project teams to maintain financial accuracy and alignment.
- Supporting project planning and resource optimisation to drive project success.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction management or consultancy.
- In-depth understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communicator, able to engage with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- A commitment to sustainability and ethical project practices.
- Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
