Job Description

Cook – Temporary Role (PVG Required)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a third-party client for a Cook to support a small residential setting in Broadford.

Role Details 
    • Location:  Broadford, IV49 9AW
    • Rate of Pay: £13.32 per hour
    • Start Date: ASAP
    • Duration: Temporary - weekly ongoing 
    • Hours: 8:00am – 5:45pm
Working Pattern (2-week rotation):
  • Week 1: Monday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Friday
 Key Responsibilities 
  • Prepare and provide basic meals for 7 residents daily
  • Support residents’ nutritional needs by fortifying snacks (adding calories as per individual care plans)
  • Follow guidance from the Care Home Manager or shift lead
  • Maintain hygiene and safety standards in line with catering requirements
Requirements 
  • Previous basic catering or cooking experience
  • Understanding of food hygiene and safe food preparation
  • Ability to follow dietary guidance and care plans
