Quality Inspector (Foundry) – Dudley
 

• Location: Dudley, UK
• Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

 
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in foundry or metal casting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company in Dudley, offering a competitive salary and stable working hours.
 
The Role:

• Conduct quality inspections on castings and machined components
• Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Work closely with production teams to maintain high-quality standards
• Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation

 
Requirements:

• Previous experience in quality inspection within a foundry or metalworking environment
• Strong knowledge of casting defects and metallurgical processes
• Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality standards (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
